We’re getting a good look at the Dolce & Gabbana DG 1141 eyeglasses, and we’re mesmerized by their almost-silly, almost-frivolous, but ultimately, simply butt-kicking overall design.

These frames look like some guy sat up for a few dozen nights and think about how to make a really tubular pair of facial fixtures. Others may disagree and decide that there’s nothing really original about these glasses, but something about them really sticks out to us. Getting a little more specific, we think the first thing we like is the open space between the hinge and the rimless lens at each corner. This peculiarity creates an edgy, ultra-modern dynamism that makes a fashion statement (although we’re not actually sure what that statement is).
